Baglioni Resort Sardinia

Sleek and elegantly contemporary, this brand-new five-star hotel enjoys a prime location within the protected marine area of Tavolara. Guests will appreciate a beautiful spa, a large pool, and two Italian restaurants.

Baglioni Resort Sardinia is a brand-new five-star resort in an area of incredible natural beauty in the heart of the Tavolara Marine Protected Area, on the Gallura coast just north of San Teodoro. Opened in June 2021, it’s the latest addition to the Baglioni Hotels & Resorts brand and offers luxurious accommodation to experience the pristine nature of Sardinia in style.
There’s a spa on-site, with a Finnish sauna, steam bath, sensory showers, and ice fountain. A range of soothing treatments is on offer, including massages, facials, and sea and land rituals. There is also a modern fitness centre to stretch out muscles with Technogym machinery and the excellent Puntaldìa Golf Club is only 3 km away. Outside is a 25-metre pool framed by a lush garden, complete with elegant cabanas, loungers, and a tasty menu of drinks and light bites.
The hotel also has a kids club to keep young travellers entertained with a range of sports and activities.

Food & Drink

For memorable tastes, the Michelin-starred Gusto by Sadler offers gourmet creations of fish and meat that marry Sardinian traditions and inventive contemporary cooking. Refined dishes like swordfish ravioli filled with Sardinian ricotta, courgette leaves and a light gazpacho, and soups of cherries in Amarone wine with cinnamon ice cream and crunchy biscuit rule the menu.
The hotel’s other restaurant, Ruia, specialises in traditional Mediterranean cuisine matched with a prestigious selection of wines. Chef Pierluigi Putzu delights his guests’ palate with such delicacies as Culurgiones made with cuttlefish ink and stuffed with seafood in a summer amatriciana sauce and courgette flowers stuffed with sheep ricotta and chicory leaves in tempura on a courgette cream and anchovy sauce.
During the day, light meals and refreshing cocktails are served at the pool bar, while evenings are spent at the splendid Sunset Terrace Bar, where exclusive drinks are served to the sound of relaxing music. Signature cocktails include the Baglioni made with Ferrari maximum, St-Germain liqueur, violet liqueur, lavender syrup and soda water.

Rooms

The hotel’s 78 spacious rooms and suites are elegantly styled with soft colours and Mediterranean furnishings. They all open onto a charming veranda from which guests can enjoy idyllic vistas of the garden or the turquoise sea. Bathrooms are modern and well stocked with DELLALUNA products.
Suites are charming apartments ranging from 85 sqm to 165 sqm. They provide bright living areas, spacious bedrooms, and panoramic terraces for pleasant moments of relaxation. Guests choosing this type of accommodation are spoiled with welcome gifts, a free minibar and complimentary ironing.

Staying in San Teodoro

The Santa Croce neighbourhood is a lively area on the right bank of the Arno river, centred around the splendid Basilica which is the final resting place of prominent Italian figures like Galileo, Michelangelo and Macchiavelli. The square where the church stands hosts the annual Calcio Storico Fiorentino, one of the city’s most important events, while all around are great markets, shops and cafés to explore.

Every trip we take contributes to build our own life story.

A story that is a patchwork of encounters, experiences and memories made while traveling. And just like fabric scraps in a quilt, every trip we take, no matter how big or long, holds its own special place in our life and contributes to shape who we are.
